heated tanks

Have a mountaineer it is suposed to come standard with heated tanks
i cant find a switch , the only thing is a switch next to the pump switch that sayes heater but i believe that is the switch for the water heater .
we have a 2004 32 ft rear living room -- are the tank heaters 110
volt ? can they be turned off? does it even have heated tanks ?

Your Mountaineer has the 2" heat duct off the furnace to the underbelly, just like the Montana's. I got this right off the Mountaineer website on the construction page.

Dave has it right. The tanks are heated by your propane furnace via the heat duct that goes into the belly of the coach. If you use space heaters to save propane, make sure the propane furnace can come on occasionally to keep the belly above freezing.

"Heated tanks" is a misnomer...they mean the tanks will be heated.

My SOB had heating elements on the tanks and a switch to operate them, as long as it warms them I suppose I dont care how they do it.
