Chrome Lug Nuts

The chrome on most of my Montana lugnuts has cracked, and looks bad (to me). I see replacements on the net, but not sure they are any better quality than those I have.

Anyone replaced theirs? What was the approx cost for better quality? Where did you purchase?

I had the dealer order us new ones under warranty right after we took delivery. The originals had started rusting. Wellll, you guessed it, the new one's are rusting too. I cleaned and polished them a couple of weeks back when I packed my wheel bearings, and after a light rain, they are showing rust spots again.

Brant,

I posted last April on this subject. About 8 years ago I replaced the lug nuts on my Ford and they still look like new. I picked them up at a Les Schwab tire shop. As I recall they have a lifetime warranty. Or, you can order them at this site:

I've sent Glenn a PM this morning asking him to consider adding this to the RV Related Links.
