Dimplex Fireplace Information Please

I may need to remove the fireplace for service. I only see 4 screws on the outside, two on each side. When I remove the screws, does the entire unit come out in one piece. I guess there is a cord there to unplug. Am I missing anything about this removal? The fireplace may need some service, some times it heats and sometime not.

Thanks.

Our's was replaced under warranty. So, I don't have a price.
We had the Model#: DF2624L.
Our dealer/service company, (at Keystone's suggestion they said...) wanted to replace it with a model#: DF2600L saying the DF2624L was no longer in production and not available. That was a downgrade in my opinion and I pushed back.
Dimplex replaced the DF2624L with the DFR2651L.

After a bit of back and forth, we got the DFR2651L and are happy we did.

Pull your unit and check your model #/Serial #. Since is is working part of the time, Dimplex customer-support may be the best option.

When ours had a problem, I was able to troubleshoot it using the following site and wound up replacing the relay board. Total cost ~$40. I also contacted Dimplex Customer Support to confirm my decision.

If you need to replace it check this web site. They sell many models including Dimplex.

Has any one replaced there factory installed Dimplex fireplace with a Infrared type. Mine gets hot when your hand is a couple inches away but the heat output of the fan is slow blowing into the room. Was wondering if the infrared ones blower is stronger blowing into the room. The little ceramic heater i have blows it seem more volume of air then the Dimplex one installed. Camper is 2016 3791 RD. Noticed the newer model has changed the fireplace and wondering if its a infrared type.

We had a problem with our fireplace turning off and then in a while it would run again for 10 minutes and then turn off. I thought it had to be replaced so I called Dimplex and was told to pull it out and vacuum the dust off in all the areas. Because the dust covers the various electrical contacts. I pulled the fireplace out and noticed there was not a lot of dust, so I vacuumed the entire fireplace and turned it on before screwing it back in to place. After turning it on it ran for hours and it still runs since the vacuum job 3 years ago.

It is probably just dirty. Ours stopped blowing heat and removal and cleaning solved the problem.

My Dimplex kept shutting down the heat element but still blows air. Factory recommended ( after blowing the unit out and it still not working) to replace the fan/ heater module @ $140. Did it ,but the unit reverted back to its old self halfway through our snowbirding season. There's got to be a more reliable unit available. Anybody but Dimplex!

Mine kept shutting down and i added a vent to the cabinet on the side at the bottom, to get extra air flow into cabinet. Have not had a problem since.
