first trip need some help
So just returned from our first trip in the the new 3750FL. Everything was great, love the new unit. So much room and space it was terrific. My questions are plumbing related. There are three hose hook ups in the convience center. Top for city connections and two below it. What are the two below for? One must be the black tank flush but the label is right in between them. I have no idea what the third could be. There is a separate fill for the fresh water tank. Also I had to have my valve control set to winterize in order for the city water to go through. Opposite of what it should be. Anyone have that problem? The other valves are normal. Any tips for the fantastic vents. I have no idea how to set them. I had the thermostat set a 68 on auto. What should I set the vents at? Everything else functions normally.
Was a great first outing. I cant tell you how much I love the front living room. It is perfect for our family of 4. My favorite part though is the separate bathroom. Was great to be able to access it from anywhere outside or in. I know its not for everyone but we love it.
Also I averaged 12.3 mpg in the 2011 350 srw.
Thanks for the help in advance
Sean

Sean,
Unless they changed things big time, the top is for winterizing, middle is city water, and bottom is black tank flush. I agree they could do a better job with there labeling.
The fantastic just set for what ever temperature you want. If will go faster the further it gets from the desired temp.
Also the two dump value in the convenience center are for black water and shower on most models, there is a third value on the frame just in front of the left front tire. Normally ship open, so if you were on full hook up you may not of noticed it. It hold the galley water. There are others here with the same model, so I am sure they will set us straight.

I had my city hose hooked to the top connection. It worked fine. But I guess that makes sense why i needed the valve turned to make it work. Thanks for the reply.

John is correct with regards to the water connections. Your tank dumps however are located behind the rear wheels in the sewer hose box. If I remember correctly the left one is galley tank, center is black and right one is gray tank (shower and bathroom sink). The fantastic fans are relatively simple. If you set them on auto, you select the temperature at which they will kick in. For instance, set them at 80 and if it gets above 80 in the rig, they will automatically come on. I typically only set the vents when we leave the pets in the rig in the event of a power failure and the ac kicks off, at least the vents will draw hot air out of the rig then. We are going out for the first time this year next Thursday and are so looking forward to it.

OK thanks for the help, bingo does your middle connection have a pressure valve in it? When my hose is hooked up to the middle I get a ton of spray coming out. Not sure if the connection is bad or what but there is a lot of water coming out. The top connection has a screen the middle one has a white valve spring loaded inside and the bottom has nothing. Thanks again for the help.

What I discovered after getting soaked is that the hose connections are deeper than in previous models. My solution was to simply add another hose washer into the connections. Crude, but it worked.

Sean,
I put quick connects on every thing. Like them a lot better than I thought I would. Don't have picture of convenience center but here is my filter with house regulator on it. I have quick connects on everything.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I might just call keystone and ask. It seems like the top one is the city water but Im not sure. The second one has some sort of valve in it again not sure. Ill get it squared away but thanks for all the insight. Love the quick connect idea!!!

If you have to flip the winterize switch, it is fairly obvious that whichever one you are hooked up to at the time is the winterize. The connections are labeled atop each one, three connections, three labels. Here is a photo that shows the convenience center of a 2011 Montana 3750FL:
They are difficult to read but the top is labeled Freeze Gard, the middle is labeled City Water which leaves the bottom for the black tank flush.

thanks bingo!! No I just need some rubber washers to add so I stop getting drenched and wasting water. I went out and messed with the connections and you are indeed correct the labels are atop of the connection. Looking at it now Im kind of an idiot but thats what all of you are for!
Thanks again

One more thing on your fantastic fan or fans. If you have them set on automatic and they are running, if it starts to rain or sprinkle, the vent will close automaticly. On manual they will not close until you close them in the off position.....JB

Since I connect the "city water" thru the pass-thru hole in the bottom of the convenience center, I installed a brass 90 degree elbow from Camping World so the hose would drop straight out of the connection. Bending the water hose 90 degrees to get it connected and thru the pass thru hole eventually caused problems. Just a suggestion for anyone interested.
For the black tank flush, I connect another hose from the City Water directly into the black tank fitting. I don't leave this connected so I have to open the basement doors to connect/disconnect the hose.

The 90 degree quick connect is a great idea Tim. I did that with my television wire, but never thought of the water hose.
