Replacing the rear scissor jacks; more stability? I like the stairway storage also. Have to look at that. Of course, we're heading out for the winter next week. Probably do that next summer. That thermostat was the first thing I changed.(Thanks to Fulltimedreamer for his schematic!) Had the second AC added last month. Been thinking about the heat strip. We like to run the AC fan at night. On cool nights, I have thought we might like the heat strip.

We had the scissor jacks and it would shake all over the place, it didn't stop it completely but a big improvement.

AZCampinfool put me on to some of the closetmaid shelves that you can cut and lay in the basement. They extend the basement floor out, and give a little lip to keep stuff away from the door. And did I say they were easy? I used them loose for about six months, but secured them the other day.

If you are in northeast Nebr. in the summer months or in McAllen TX in the winter, stop by I would be glad to. I enjoy doing things like that or any other projects.

I like the idea of the shelf. I have had images of opening the door and having stuff fall out. The water storage is on my list too. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Larry, those are some really great mod's. You did good. I really liked that heavy duty power cord.

Mudchief
Yes we tried to use it for awhile but no campground had the heavy accommodations!! ha It was actually used for electrical hookup for the ice-breaker which is decommissioned at Mackinaw City in Michigan.
