The problem in ours was the curvature of the ceiling. Had to screw (drywall phosphate) the moulding into the wall and then support it with 2x4 in the center and spacers on the ends until the moulding followed the curvature. I did this over a winter storage period, 2-3 months.

Just repaired mine. The staples popped out from the very thin wall. I took a 1/4" thick, 3/14" wide and 2" long piece of cabinet grade furring. Super glued it to the wall behind the bottom of the molding and below the LED strip. Drilled two holes and used two 1 1/4" finish nails to attach the molding the the furring. So far so good.

Yes. Take paneling nails with ridges in the nail and use them. Also, use wood filler to close gap between each section. No problem now. You may have to toe one to the other to help as well.

We had the same problem. Went out to my shed and got some brown colored paneling nail and toed them together and into the wall,. No problems since.
