New F350 on order

Just ordered a new 2015 F350 SRW to replace my 2008 F250 SRW. The new rig is just a bit to heavy for the drive axle on the F250. Pin weight puts me over a bit. Plus I just want a new truck :-). Don't tell DW that. It should be in about the end of February to early March.

Congratulations on buying a new F350 2015. The waiting is a real bear. I ordered my 2015 on June 26 and picked it up on Aug 13, 7 weeks to the day. You will love the power, your 2008 has 350 HP and 650 Lbs Torque. The 2015 has 450 HP and 860 Ft Lbs Torque. Another big, big plus is the new " EXHAUST BRAKE ". Along with the "Tow Mode" on the transmission the down hill grades are a breeze.

Great truck. You can go to cotus.ford.com to track it as it moves along in the build process. I just ordered a 2015 F 150. With 5 trim levels and 3 cab sizes 3 bed lengths 4 different engines about 10 colors ordering is the only way to get the truck you won't.

Just curious why you didn't choose a dually if rig weight was a factor.

We took delivery of our new 2015 F350 Platinum back in October. Beautiful truck and nice to drive. We already have 4400 miles on it but have not had the chance to do some real towing.
You will enjoy your new truck, I am sure!!

As for the DRW I checked the weight spects and the SRW TV will work just fine. I think a dually would be a bit of a problem as I do use the TV as a drive vehicle when in CA when I have my tax office open. Southern Ca freeways and toll roads as well as the parking lots can make driving a DRW TV a bit of a challenge. Also if a SRW TV will do the job then that will work MUCH better for me.

Also mlh thanks for the site to check on the truck build.

Well according to the dealer the order is in to Ford and the build date is January 26th. I should have it by the end of Febuary. This is the first I have ordered a truck so waiting will make me crazy. It's a good thing I will be opening the tax office at the end of January. Hope that will keep my mind of the waiting.

Happy day I pick up my new F350 King Ranch tomorrow. Ordered in December arrived last Thursday and I just drove back here to Lake Havasu City to pick it up. One day here and back to CA.

I'm still waiting on my F150. The order still hasn't been pulled. It was ordered on December 5. It should be pulled this week so in about 6 weeks I should get my beer can truck.
