Tst 507 Tpms

Does anyone know if there are any retailers, tire shops, etc that sell the TST 507 Tpms? We are currently traveling in Arizona and if possible I would like to purchase a TST system. I currently have a Hawks Head system and it is a useless piece of junk. Also, is the Tire Minder system reliable. I believe Camping World sells it.

Greatly appreciate your input.

I believe the Tire Minder system and the Hawks Head system are made by the same company. I will say the support for the TST system is fantastic. We are extremely happy with our 507 system. Not sure if anyone else sells it though.

Unless things have changed in the last year ... you'll get just as good a deal by calling TST direct from the number on their website. They'll match any special vendors have available ... however I did buy mine from Plugitright.com. TST has vendors online and at the RV shows, but I don't know of any brick and mortar nationwide outlets for the product.
Here's a vendor list right off the TST website.

Camping World sells them. Call the store in Tucson or Phoenix whichever is closer and make sure they have them in stock. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...g-system/67170 I do believe they are cheaper from the manufacturer. That's where we got ours.

That is where I bought mine. Less expensive than TST, but TST will match their price. TST has EXCELLENT customer service.

That's how the system works ... scrolls thru each tire that has a sensor.

Thank you for all the input. We are now back at home in Calgary Canada. During our travels through Arizona and Nevada I checked with all the Camping Worlds and none of them stocked TST product, except the CW on Boulder Hwy in Vegas had an old model that had non-replaceable batteries. Camping World has the Tire Minder product in stock, and the TST has to be ordered on line. Now that we are back home I'll order the TST 507 on line. Since the TST product is so popular I don't know why CW and other
RV shops don't stock the product.

Send a message via MSN to Ramblin Roadrunners
Is 6 tire monitors enough or should you have 8?

If you order this month I would recommend calling them and ordering over the phone. They are offering a 10% discount and an additional year of warranty free of charge (brings it to 3 years) if you call in to order. I had been thinking of upgrading from the 510 to the 507 (I have had the 510 for 3 years). I wanted the pass thru sensors and user replaceable batteries. I wanted to upgrade before I had to send my 510 sensors in for battery replacement. I called them and upgraded to the 507 pass thrus and beleive I got a real good deal. (trade in with free shipping) -Glenn

I've got the Talon 22, and if you do change systems I would be interested in the sensors

Let me know

We only got the system with four sensors, but in hind sight, the extra two sensors could be used on the spare of both the TV and Montana. We have TPMS on the TV, so didn't think it would be needed for that. Have the pass-through system, and it is great.

So many of you say you use this system that I looked to see if Amazon sells it (we're Prime members). In reading one of the reviews someone mentioned calling their "great customer service" in the next town over from me, so I looked up their website. This is what I found:

TST is the only tire pressure monitoring system to be exclusive to commercial equipment producers such as PACCAR (Peterbilt / Kenworth), and sold nationally through Camping World, Bass Pro Shops on line, and Pilot / Flying J (In select stores).

So a few more places you can look. As for me, I'm going to see if I can pick one up from their office!

Purchase Pending on FIVER... on our motor coach (40' plus toad) we had to have a repeater for toad signal

Does the tire pressure monitoring system require a repeater from the DWR TV to the FIVER... or are each unit different?

If a repeater is required where is it mounted... on front of FIVER or rear of TV?
