GMC built in dash GPS (OEM)

Does anyone know what brand the GPS is that General Motors puts in their vehicles? We have a 2011 GMC Denali and I would like to find out what brand the GPS is. I may be wrong, but I don't think GM makes their own GPS.

I have the NavRadio in my Chevy. I don't know who makes it, but I'll try to find out. I love mine, very accurate. Discs are available to update it online. Tip: Buy the year old disc to save a ton of money!

The GM navigation units are supplied by Delphi, and are made overseas (China, I think). I would not get one for two reasons: they are way overpriced (Something like $2500) and if you want to keep current, the map updates cost $180. Bare in mind when I say all this, I have one in my 06 (installed myself from a wrecked vehicle) and I used to work for GM. I love the trucks, but will never pay for their navigation unit. There are good aftermarket units that offer equal (perhaps even better, feature-wise) units, for less money, with free or cheap upgrades. Plus, I don't think the aftermarket units require a CD to operate.

The NavRadio system in the 2011 Silverado is made by Denso Blacktie International. Quite a name huh. Information provided by Graff Chevrolet Davison via GM.
Tom, I bought mine used. I let someone else take the initial hit.

Kevin, thank you for providing the name of the manufacturer. We have the nav/radio option in our Denali and we love the set up. If I ordered the truck I most likely would not have bought that option, but we bought the "loaded" Denali during a "end of year" clearance sale, at a heck of a price; so the price of the nav/radio doesn't bother me. I was thinking that the GPS might be Garmin or Magellan and I would have gone to them for updates, but now I guess I'll have to deal with GM.

Again, thanks for the information.
