Electric Awning Problem

The Dometic electric awning on my 09 3075 does not move when the switch is pressed but I can hear the motor spinning. I need some direction as to how to get at the gears which allow the motor to move the awning. Any help would be appreciated.

If this were my problem, I would be calling the manufacturer's technical support department for some help.

I would do the same...seems like a lot of manufacturers use any excuse to invalidate a claim: like, "oh, you did this or that...." Let them tell you what needs to be done and if there is an issue with a faulty product from the factory, you may have a better chance of getting it replaced/fixed on their dime.
