Slide Out Stalls
I do remember this topic has been discussed but I have been unable to find if via the search function. So sorry in advance!
My slideout will stall multiple times as I put them in or out. If I give it 15 seconds it will begin again. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on.
I recall a discussion on the fuses being the cause but I'm not sure where they are located.
Any suggestions?

Yes there is an auto reset circuit breaker (12VDC) up in the battery compartment.
It may be getting weak. Also lubricant the slides to help.

The dealer put a second fuse in parallel and we haven't had any trouble since.

More than likely the auto resetting circuit breakers as mentioned earlier. I've replaced mine twice already. The breakers are readily available at NAPA. Make sure you get the same amperage rating and you may want to keep a couple extras on hand.

Here is Lippert's recommendation for the increase in breaker size, or parallel breakers.

Great info Will. Thanks for the link. I will include this info for the buyer of our current trailer and check the new rig when we get it and see what breaker they are installing now.

There are two thermal breakers in the battery compartment, one of them supports the hydraulics for the slides. It is easy to find out which one by following the wires to the pump.
The breaker is undersized. I replaced mine with a breaker that we picked up at an automotive audio store. I was looking for a 70 AMP fuse, which would be adequate, but all they had was a 100 AMP fuse. That is what I used and haven't had any problems since.
A Montana dealer in Virginia made this recommendation and told me where to go to get the part.
