My true love gave to me

Hows your memory...on the fourth day of Christmas how many and what kind of birds did my true love give to me?

I dare you to post your answer from memory, then look it up.

Four new tires for my Montana, or four French hens. Now to look it up. I'm sure I'm close.

Four months in Florida watching birds , three French speaking Canadians neighbors, two hands that don't need gloves, and a glass of Merlot under a palm tree.

While eating dinner last night we noticed on the Christmas plate it said,"four coly birds." we had a good laugh thinking the Chinese didn't know how to spell. After looking it up on line we saw it was correct, Coly birds! These are a type of black bird. I guess the original was coly but the revised standard version now says calling birds. I never knew after all these years, now we know.
