Surround sound

Just want to give Kudo's to Montana for putting a great surround sound system in our rig The last Samsung was good but man this new Sony 5.1/Blu Ray surround sounds AWESOME!! we have friends come over with other SOB's and are really impressed with the Quality compared to theirs, that is one thing they do not skimp on is TV/surround systems, we Love watching movies with this setup AND it is cool they mount the TV on a pull out adjustable arm so you can watch that game/movie up close for you and your guests

It’s great to hear positive feed-back!

I love our surround sound. It's on every time the television is on.

Let us know if you experience any sound drop out with your Sony unit. A lot of us have the issue when watching local TV or Satellite via a receiver connected to the TV HDMI port of the sound dropping out. You can fix it most of the time by changing the channel and then going back to the original channel.

Are you having that problem with a Sony or the Samsung? My Samsung Stereo has a bad habit shutting off some of the speakers when connected to the TV via the Optical cable. I have found raising the stereo's volume brings them back. If happens most often at lower volume settings. If the volume is &LOUD* (which I like but management doesn't) it is unlikely to occur.

I thought I was the only one with this weird problem. I even had the Sony surround unit changed and it didn't help. Maybe I'll take a run at Sony and see if they have any ideas.

It's not the surround but the TV. See my new thread. http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...ad.php?t=60953
