Bingo I think it is the "stealth" colors of your new Montana that is the problem, you likely can't be picked up on radar either...

Mine I mounted in the Propane compartment on drivers side.

Ed,
Where did you get the 12V feed from for the repeater? From the battery compartment and ran it into the propane compartment?
Bingo

I had put a light in the battery compartment prior to getting the TST system and just tied into that circuit, there are several holes through which to bring the wires to the propane compartment. I also put a light in series with the repeater that is mounted near the outside light on the front of the Montana, that way I can see that the repeater is on from the truck.

Made a aluminum bracket to mount to the front wall and a switch to turn it off and on. See pictures...

Bingo,

I also have the 507, and I put the repeater on mine. I did not help what so ever. Over all I have not been impress with 507 performance.

Hmmm, that is odd, have had ours for three years now, and never had a problem until now. Will see if the repeater restores everything back to the way it was working previously.

I just got my 507 TPMS repeater today in the mail. I was looking for a simple installation. And I was thinking about the 12v outlet in the bedroom. I don't need it for anything when towing and I don't need the repeater when camping, so what about just putting a 12v plug on the repeater cable and plugging it in? Just by being in the bedroom at the front of the trailer, it should be in an ideal position, unless there is too much interference from the aluminum frame of the RV.

Thoughts?
