Howdy

Phil and Rachel, from Aiken South Carolina. We are the proud owners of a 21 Montana high country to 295 RL. I am pulling it with a new GMC 3500 Duramax. This is our first fifth wheel. Before this we RV for five years with a 27 foot KZ sportsman trailer and a half ton ram pick up. We are planning many long trips.
I ordered it with a solar package, which includes one 285 watt panel, and a 2000 W inverter. That’s far I have a quick it with two group 27 100 amp battle born lithium batteries. I hope this gives us enough juice to stay off grid for three or four days now and again. Got a lot to learn!

Welcome. Enjoy it and make great memories.
I have 400W solar panels, 552Ah lithium batteries.
We boondocked on Ocracoke Island OBX for 5 days. Perfect weather. The panels had the batteries charged back to 100% by noon everyday.
Ran satellite, TV, Nintendo, furnace. No problem.

Welcome, Phil and Rachel. Lots of good info here. Your satisfaction with your Solar/Battery combination will depend on a number of factors such as do you have RV or residential fridge, what will you run with your batteries, do you augment with generators. Best of luck and enjoy your new unit.
