NAIAS impressive

Hey All,
Went to the North American International Auto Show again this year in Detroit. Those 2008 Ford trucks are pretty nice looking, and BIG!! I took tons of pics, have to get them on the computer to see how they turned out. If they came out decent, I'll try to do a hyperlink on here so whoever wants to check out the pics can. Peace out...

I'd like to see the pictures if you can get them out on the web somewhere. Or email me and I'll send you my email address (click the envelope icon above this post to email me). The pictures I've seen are very impressive. There's also some info in the new Trailer Life magazine. I see the truck is not due at dealers until March. I was hoping it would be on the road sooner as we'll be in the market this summer. I'm leery of a first year engine and would at least like to see a lot of good reports for a few month before we buy. The Dodge also will have a new Cummins engine and the Duramax will have some major changes so I guess to some degree they'll all be somewhat untested.

Jan,
I do hope your pictures turned out. Ford needs a solid truck after the 6.0L fallout, hopefully this will get them back in the game.

I managed to get the pics onto my computer, and uploaded just the truck pics I took onto that photobucket site. Now, I need to figure out how to get those onto a post. I'll try working on that tomorrow...it's been a long day, and connor is getting ready to lay another egg. I'll get those pics on here one way or another...LOL Peace out...

Jan, email me if you need help with this. On the photobucket site you will see several links you can use. One has IMG with brackets around it. That's the one you want. Make sure your pictures meet the guidelines of no bigger than 640x480 and preferably no bigger than 60k. If you need help with resizing, email me (click the envelope icon above this post).

I wish they could have been better, but when you're fighting through throngs of people, it can get frustrating. I don't usually care too much for the front end of Ford trucks, but the grille on the 350's are really sharp! If this works, and anyone would like to see the many different car pics I took, just let me know...:-)

BTW...the last pic, of the plum colored F-150 with the Harley...they can both be yours for the teensy little price of $60,000.00LOL It was beautiful in person though. If you look closely, you can see HARLEY DAVIDSON in chrome along the bed of the truck. They sure did look nice together...:-)

Jan,

Nice work on getting those posted. I do see some things I like, and things I don't on the new Ford.

Nice pictures, I bought a '06 hoping it would last me a couple of years until the new motor had some real world test time. I'll be lurking around waiting for the '09s or '10s to come out before I am ready to purchase another one.
