Hi Everyone!

My wife and I just purchased a 2004 Montana (3295RK). We're waiting for our mechanic to find us a diesel truck to haul the thing. Can't wait to get rolling. Maybe we'll run into some of you out there. We have plans to go to Florida for the month of October (Sarasota/Fort Meyers area).
The Montana Owners Club seems like a great place to meet new people and get a lot of information on 'how-to' stuff. See you folks down the road!

Happy Travels
Rudi & Ellen

I am sure you will find your truck. We also had our unit before we had the truck. I have heard people say that you find the unit you like and then buy the truck that can pull it.

Hi Rudi & Ellen and welcome to the MOC family.

A little hint on the truck you need. Take a look at the signatures of the first four MOC members to welcome you. There seems to be a consensus, at least with the first four, that a GM product with the Duramax/Allison combo is the way to go.

Your profile says you are from Penna. What part? Lorraine and I are from the Reading area.

Hi Glenn and Lorraine,

Ellen and I live in the small town of Mount Joy (about 12 miles west of Lancaster). We're almost neighbors.

Congratulations on the Montana purchase and welcome aboard from a VERY happy FORD owner who knows there are still more Fords towing big rigs than any other brand (Sorry, Glenn!). More seriously, any of the Big Three diesels will do a fine job for you. My personal opinion is that you should choose the truck based on whatever other factors you consider. They all do a good job.

Good luck and hope you enjoy the Montana.

Welcome and congratulations on the new Montana. You'll find plenty of information here on tow vehicles and most anything else you have a question about. Safe travels.

Welcome Rudi and Ellen, We also bought our Montana before we bought our truck. Seems to make more sense to me to do it that way!

You will have a ball either way!

Hi Rudi and Ellen!
We just got our 3295 last week... and have been living in it virtually ever since. (It is much micer than the rental... I even like it better than my big mongous house we just sold!)
We are pulling with a 2500 HD duramax/Allison GMC... on smoth roads we hardly knew the beastie was back there... (did drop the fuel efficiency down from 19 to 12 or so.... but oh well.
You will love it regardless of what you pull it with.

Congratulations! I travel to Florida about once a month, using my new Montana as my rolling business office. Going to Tampa on the 10th and Orlando in October. Maybe we will hook up sometime.
