We Did It!!!!!!!

We took the plunge. We are now owners of a 2005 Mountaineer 335RLBS. We have been staying in it since the day we got it on Sept. 1st. This is an awsome RV.

Thanks for the encouragement when I was down and out. Now, I've got to start thinking about doing some of the improvements that some of you have done.

See Ya later!

Congratulations! I know just how you feel. I get excited just by going and "visiting" our Montana in the storage yard we have her at.

May you have all the best with your travels in your "Monty"

Well done! Glad to see you joined the ranks of the Mountaineer owners. We moved up from the 315RLS to the 335 - with the extra slide it sure makes an easy unit to enjoy!

Wonderful news, Congratulations. We love ours. Had it almost a year and are still delighted. I'm sure you'll feel the same a year from now. If you need any more info on how we all have improved ours, be sure to contact us. You have just reminded me to up-date my improvement post. I had another brain storm. I can't help it. Hey Jeff & Sharon,
Just curious, what are you using to tow this magnificent beast?

We have a '03 Chevy 2500HD D/A.
Pulled it from Birmingham, AL. to Chattanooga, TN. like a dream.

Only thing was I-59 is a terrible road to travel on. It's the only bumpy (and I mean BUMPY) interstate I've ever traveled on. I wonder why the state doesn't fix it?

We spent the last week in our new unit and didn't want to come home today. I guess we'll just get ready for the next trip. We will be in Athens, GA. for the GA./TN. game on Oct. 9

GO DAWGS!!!!!

BubbanLacey,

Stay off I 10 in and around New Orleans. One of the worst I have been on, and it does not get better going west till after you clear Houston.

OH, and don't try I 94 between Jackson Michigan and points west to Battle Creek. UGH, that one broke the screws holding the TV in. Got home and found them sheared right off, luckily the TV did not fall out.

Only fix on I 10 was to SLOW down, VERY SLOW and it did help a bit to get in the left lane. Which is just what we did.

Glad you had such a terrific time in your new Mountaineer.
