What a Weekend
WOW-it's been a wild weekend. I'm sure you have heard about the two boys found in MO...one was kidnapped earlier last week and the other 4 years ago. Both of these boys are from areas less than 30 miles from me...one boy is just 10 miles from me and I drive by his road every morning to work. This is such wonderful news and you can imagine our communities are speechless. It will be a great day today when I get to my office and can take down the picture of Ben Ownby and know he's been found and is back with his family. There is still hope out there.

That is great news. Unbelievable news. It was also good to hear that they caught the pervert so he can't harm any other boys.

Friday night when the bulletin came down we were all in shock and awe. I can't imagine what that poor boy was put through over the 4 year period. I am happy for his family. I pray they find a way to catch up and move forward from this event. The poor young man is going to need a lot of support coming back into society again.

Cheryl, When I heard this I thought it was really a miracle. I know it will be a long road for him and his family but it really does help not to give up hope.

They always say...I didn't think it would happen here! We had a girl that was almost abducted from school during the day in the school parking lot! Thankfully they caught the guy....he was from out of state, and came here to do it.

My daughter was approached by two men in a car who reached out for her, she stepped back and they never touched her. We lived 15 miles out of town. Called the sherrif and they were fast, blocked the roads and actually caught them but had to let them go because they never actually touched her. I thank God my daughter was up to speed for a challenge in life. I think she was about 13 at the time.
