Montana Dealer in Elkhart, IN
Freedom Roads Rv, the parent company of Camping World, has closed the dealership associated with Camping World in Elkhart, IN. This happened just about two weeks ago. The Camping World store apparently is still open. This kinda sucks since that is where I got my new 3400RL. I just found out about it yesterday when someone called me and said I owed them some money.

wow. Didn't they use to be Hart City Rv. I'm glad we didn't buy ours there, they weren't that nice to me when I was looking at campers. But I'm glad to hear Camping world is still there. Stacy

When we were at the MOC fall rally in Goshen, we had made an appointment for warranty service (at Keystone's instruction) at Hart RV, on Sept. 27th. When we called to confirm the appointment we were told Camping World had taken over Hart and would be doing our service and it would be covered by our warranty. We had the service done the day we left the rally and even though we had to wait about an hour past the appointment time before they got to our unit the service was completed satisfactorily. At that time they still had several units on the lot but the showroom did not look very active. Two years ago Hart was very active at our MOC Rally bringing new units out to the rally for us to see. They were also big Newmar dealers. Not sure what happened to cause them to close down. Anyone know???

One thing I noticed while at the rally was the presence of a new Suncoast RV dealership. Suncoast is a large southeast US dealer and one that handles many of the Keystone lines including Montana and Mountaineer. It would not surprise me a bit that Suncoast will be taking over where Hart left off.

I'm sorry to hear this, too. I bought my 3670RL at Hart City RV 2 years ago. I wasn't very impressed with the sales staff -- I really sold myself -- but I did like the service department a lot. And the Camping World staff was pretty good, too. Hope the dealership gets picked up by someone who will offer good sales and service. After all, the area is the 'home' of more than half (?) of RV manufacturers.

Glenn,
I think Suncoast RV is right next to Camping World in New Braunfels, Texas. They send me stuff all of the time, I will have to pay more attention to the name before I toss it next time.

They don't handle Montana's at the SunCoast in New Braunfels. Montanas are at Evergreen RV in So Austin and New Braunfels. We had some work done there. Unless things are changing. We were happy with the work done at Evergreen.
