Mission Accomplished

Hi All,

Last summer on our last stop in Alb. NM. before returning home to AZ, we made the decision to start a new chapter in our lives. So we layed out a plan to leave our PT jobs with the Schools, which would allow us more time away.

To make the plan work we gave ourselves this school year to gitter done. We needed to, prep our House for sale (1 month), Get it sold (2 months), Get a new home constructed (5 months), Get moved and settled in, landscaped etc.

Well, today is the last day of school and we're packing the Mounty. We leave Fri. for about 5 mos. traveling to the Smokies, the NC Outer Banks, the Blue Ridge Mts, the Adirondaks, the Coast of Maine and possibly Amish Country for the Fall Rally.

For the past 5 years we have been leaving AZ for 2 mos. during the schools summer break. But its been awful hard returing to the heat in July, and we absolutely love the Gypsy life style.

It was a lot of work and stress putting it all together but we're really excited about the total freedom.

Hopfull we'll bump into some of our MOC Family out there. We'll be the ones with the Royal Star Motorcycle in the bed of the Truck. Or out Riding our beautiful back roads.

Happy Camping

Congrats on the gitter done plan. We have one but it seems to be taking a little longer to gitter done than we wanted. All things happen when given enough time.

We pick up the new Monty tomorrow so if you are in the Austin Texas area we can bump into you.

I hope that you have a wonderful stress free time on your travels. It sounds to me that you have worked long and hard and are ready to reap the rewards from your efforts.

Safe travels to you.

Steve and Nina, sounds like a wonderful plan, Arizona in the winter and Maine in the summer. And especially the Fall Rally in September. If you'd like to be on the mailing list to keep up with things, let us know.

Congratulations on your decision. We also live in AZ and plan to be out every year by mid may and return in October. Even September is too early. Your 5 months sounds about right.
