Hi There,

We are recently new owners of our Montana. Still learning things that we have that we didn't know about. Does this model have the choice of using gas or electric on the water heater? What would I look for to know if it does work with either? Is there a switch somewhere? Any help would be awesome. Thank you!!!

There should be a switch outside in the water heater bottom left.

My hot water heater runs on propane when the red switch in hall is flipped. To run on A/C power you need to flip the switch outside near the water heater, bottom left side.

On our 05, there was a two way switch, down for electric up for gas. And the mentioned switch at the heater. Both had to be on for electric to work. You should be able to leave the heater switch on all the time (we always have) and control the heater from the inside.
