Delamination ?

They just delivered my new HC 345RL yesterday and I noticed what appears to be Delamination on the slide out just above the outdoor kitchen. I thought I looked over the unit real good. Don't know how I missed that. I contacted the dealership and waiting to hear back. We will see how it goes. Excuse the sideways picture.

I know if was me I would be demanding a replacement unit since IMHO there is no way to easily fix that without ripping apart the entire side wall of the camper. Good luck with that.

Yep, that is delamination. I had it on a previous unit; it had to go back to the factory for repair. It might be a plus that it is on a slide out; probably easier to repair than an entire side wall.

That is totally unacceptable on a new unit. How could the dealer have missed that? It was delivered to you? Since it was just delivered yesterday, perhaps you could refuse delivery, send it back to the dealer.

Since they "just" delivered it, I would try having them come and pick it up, and telling them to bring you a different one. Also, check your state's contract law; there may be a back-out clause.

Agree, they should take it back, not a quick repair.
