Yearly check.

Pulled the wheels to check brakes and repack bearings. Found one seal had just started to leak , replaced same. Checked suspension and found a lot of play in the springs and the Equa-Flex equalizer.Found plastic bushings were beat and replaced with wet bolts and bronze bushings. Further checking after cleaning the Equa-flex equalizer found a crack in the weld. A dealer handy me happened to have a new one in stock. Reasonable price. One tire on that side showed irregular wear. Replaced with a new one that I had. Pulled sparetire(used for 200 miles) and found that it had dry rot on side wall, and that was replaced. Just have to fix back wall on interior and store trailer for the winter and plan to head out West in May.

Since you were doing all that work...hope you checked those ubolts to make sure they were torqued to spec. Bummer that you had plastic bushings. John

A good yearly check up you did. Will save you a lot of heartache down the road.
