2010 2955RL surge location

Will start looking for a location to install my surge protector tomorrow. First thing is to disconnect the battery and AC and pull out the power center and see what is back there which is right below the refrigerator. There is a blank csbinet panel right by it. From what I understand there are no electrical schmatics. Anyone install one of these on a 2955RL?

Mike,

Where is the panel on you model? Mine is to the right of the door. I have a surge protector coming, should be here Tuesday. I just put a 50 Amp transfer switch in, the surge protect will go in front of it. Access is via basement storage.

I got mine installed in the cargo area on the right side below the receticles and tv mount. Had enough slack in the cable so it worked out good. Cut the bulk head plywood and mounted it so just the cover sticks out. Will try and post pictures. Hope it works. That tinypic is confusing

mojavemike, your pictures are awsome! I'm browsing for tips to install the EMS-HW50C in my 3500RL.

So what I am to assume is that it is wired in before the power goes into the circuit breaker panel/converter.
