Remote landing gear option

I just found an inexpensive remote control remote landing gear system.
It is for a winch system for off-road vehicles and peeps that use vehicle-mounted winches, also for my use on the landing gear.
I will rig an 'Off' switch so any stray signals won't leave our nose in the dirt.
For under $40.00, not a bad deal. I still want a spare Zaxis if I can get it cheap, back-up..
If the electronic relay contacts are not heavy enough, I will just add 2 relays and use the remote to power the coils, but it should be fine.

After a year and a half, about the only place where I find the remote useful are the rear stabilizers, since you can't see them while they deploy from the front of the rig. Other than that, I like to be IN the trailer when I put the slides in or out so I can observe, and the landing gear switch is about where I would stand even if I was using the remote. So, while it seems like a good bargain .........

The remote is sure handy hooking your truck up to your fiver ... as you back up ... you can raise or lower the front legs "on the fly" to get coupled up. Eliminates the in and out of "putting an eye" on elevation especially if there is no level to the campsite or the spousal unit is absent. I also think the ability to remotely turn on the outside lights instead of fumbling around in the dark is great. OK ... I'm dun thinkin ...

That all went down the drain when we added Level-Up, but I wouldn't want to go back.
