Satellite antenna question

Not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but I'll give it a try. We have been using a pathway X2 antenna with our 2 Wally receivers for a few years now. I love the Pathway's auto connect, but even though we can hook up 2 receivers on the same satellite, it never fails one us of will turn the channel and interrupt the other TV. So I'm thinking of buying a new antenna. Amazon has a Dish antenna with a 3 LNB setup for under $100 it's a 1000.2 Is this what I need to run 2 TV's independent of each other? If so will it work with the Wally's? Also we have Comcast at our S&B for TV, internet and landline. Wife has been wanting to change to a different provider, does anyone have Dish for the S&B, if so how do you like it. Thanks for your help.

I have Dish I both the stick home and RV. Love it in both places. I do have the Traveler Anti on the five. A bit pricy but soooooo much better reception.

I have a pathway x 2 also and got tired of the receivers fighting amongst themselves. I have 2 211z's inside and a wally in the basement to watch tv outside.
I bought the 1000.2 dish with western arc lnb and it works great. If you want to use the eastern arc you need the 1000.4.

I needed a little more height than the short tripod gave me to clear the fifth wheel parked next to me so I brought some 6x6 blocks from home and screwed the tripod to them. More secure than just using the tent stakes poked into the ground.

Also, I have dish at home too. I like it fine. Kind of pricy though at $130 a month.
The receivers in my rv are on my home account. So I'm paying for 2 receivers at home and 3 in the rv, I bring the wally home with me and use it at home when I come home on the weekends.

$7 a month apiece for each of the receivers in the rv, I own them.

I also have DISH at the house and in the RV. I have the X2 for the RV with one Wally. The X2 has two antenna connections. If you are using the two connections with one to the main TV and one to the Bedroom you are saying that causes you problems when you change channels? The literature says you can change channels with no problems however they must be on the same satellite. Maybe that is the problem. I have not seen another antenna that will allow you to receive more than one satellite at a time. The X2 will receive the western and the eastern satellites.
We changed from Spectrum/Charter to DISH this year and are happy and pay much less per month for programming as well as receivers. You can't take Spectrum on the road like DISH.

The 1000.2 receives all three western arc satellites at the same time, 110, 119, and 129. It also has 3 coax outputs.
The only drawback is you have to manually aim it each time you move. The pathway x 2 aims itself.

I'm a channel flipper and got tired of waiting for the pathway x 2 to find the satellite on the new channel I had flipped to. Also got tired of having to watch the same satellite on all tv's.

I had Dish at my s&b and rv with Pathways X1 and 711k. My fiancé had Direct. When I sold my house, talked Dish into a free Wally for the rv if we switched to dish at her place. Had to keep dish so rv was only $7 month, and X1 can only get dish, so'they had me anyway.

Like dish much better than direct. We've traveled coast to coast twice, and never had a problem locking onto western arc satellites.

The X2 will not be able to see all 3 sats at the same time. The master receiver controls the 2 sats that it will see. Therefore the slave receiver will only be able to tune to channels on those sats. It is simply a result of a smaller X2 antenna is not designed or capable of seeing all 3 sats at the same time. Compare the size of the X2 to a stand alone antenna--the stand alone is much larger!

Using 1000 series antenna with both eastern and western arc lnbs , use which ever gets the best reception for the area I am in. No problem changing lnbs. Been a Dish customer about 20 years.

Had Dish in the RV with two Wally's and King Tailgater. Never could get it to work right unless I ran the cable through the window (what's with that?). Too many splitters in the rv wiring I guess.
Had Direct tv in the s&b till this spring and just cut the cable on that as it was too expensive. I now stream everything I want over Spectrum internet for less than 1/4 of the cost. At my winter location I have Comcast which I like better than spectrum but it's $10 more. I can put each internet on vacation when I'm gone so not paying double all the time like with satellite. Boxes just arrived an hour ago to send all the Direct TV junk back. There is more competition among online streaming to keep the price from creeping up so much.
Anyone interested in Dish equipment, I have a deal for you.
