Noisy furnace? Comfort level low?
The answer is a 2 stage furnace, I wish I would have had the option to upgrade to it. But, I bought mine off the lot.
If you order one, or have the option of getting one, do so.
Unique 2-Stage System - Choose your desired temperature and let the furnace continually monitor your comfort level-automatically! Operating on High BTU, High Fan for quick, quiet warm up, the furnace will automatically switch to low BTU, Low Fan to maintain the desired temperature.
(and less noise)

OZZ, IF our current single stage furnace should need replacing, could it be replaced with a two stage unit? If so, would one have to replace the Dometic DuoTherm Comfort Control Thermostat? Thanks for your advice. It is highly regarded.....BTW I have an '06 3400.

A guy would have to give them your model number, serial number, brand. Then they can check the replacement sheet to see if all dimensions would match up.
But my gut feeling is that they would be a direct replacement.
and thanks.

Bob, putting it in perspective, I sell a builders model, or entry level furnace for your home for around $450 to $758 depending on size, so they seem expensive in comparison.
If a guy could upgrade when buying or ordering, then it would work out better.
