Where are you in Florida?
As a rather new member to the MOC Forum (2 yrs.), was wondering which parts of Florida everyone goes to. Do you ever have a get together? Perhaps you've done this but just curious. We will be in Central Florida (Leesburg) and just wanted to know if people meet and greet one another during the winter. Thanks for the info.

We have a get together at the tampa show in jan or feb but it is not in the past a big deal but stay tuned as ex8vtor is puting together a meeting my spellimg is bad as its phil and cathy from alaska ,,sailer

We are new also. Our first trip to Florida will be this winter. We will be staying at Ridgecrest RV Resort in Leesburg during Jan., Feb., & March. We are presently dog sitting in your neighborhood at our sons house in Avon, OH. We will soon be heading to Mohican in Loudonville until after Christmas. Lets look each other up in Leesburg. What Campgrounds will you be in?

We live fulltime in Sun City Center, FL. It is 20 miles south of Tampa and about 20 miles north of Sarasota. We still work fulltime and plan on going fulltime in our "Casa" in March 2010 (God willing and the economy improves). Looking forward to the RV show in Jan. We live about 15 miles away from the fairgrounds and didn't realize when we moved here that this would be the mecca for RVs!!!!!! Joanie

We will be in Florida from january till the first of April. Since we belong to 1000 trails and Outdoor world membership we move back and forth between those two membership campgrounds in the orlando area. We are goign to Dade City this year a couple of times to Work with habitat for humanity building homes for a couple of weeks each time in January and Febuary. They have full hookup sites for us to use. It would be nice to see old friend again if anyone is setting up a get together. We won't be at the Tampa show this year as it conflects with the habitat work schedule.

Doug and I live in Oviedo in the stick house and "Bella" (2955RL) resides in Umatilla on five lakefront acres where, eventually, the "forever house" will be built. Leesburg is just minutes away so once you all settle in let us know and maybe we can arrange a get together.

We spend our winters at Encore Lake Magic near Disney. Disney employees many snowbirds over the winter months. We work only two days a week, but the perks are great and it is more fun than a "job". We will be leaving this weekend with planned arrival at Encore on 10/23 and will depart in late April or early May. Robin, I just know "Panda" would love to get together with "Bella" this winter ansd renew friendships.

Workamping at Clerbrook Golf and RV Resort in Clermont from 10-31 to 4- something. 1200 sites around 18 hole golf course  . Plenty to do. Dan And Sandy

We are in West View Ridge near Haines City, Fl. You are going to love it. Last year our "friends" sent us pictures of the snow and ice covered streets in Dayton, Oh and made us feel even better!!!!
