Good luck. I never even thought to ask about getting something for the takeoffs.

What the heck was wrong with the Tacomas? We've had zero trouble out of ours and they're 6 yrs old. It would suit me just fine if Tacomas were on our new 3465 in lieu of the Marathons.......maybe, just maybe, Keystone will put another brand on the 2011's..

Rich,
The cost to me on the G614's are about $290 each. So, taking $50 off of that, leaves $240 each....probably an inflated price?
Anyway, I don't have to pay for a tire disposal!

A quick look at local prices for that tire is 276.00. I can get 10% off that at my local tire guy so you did good.

We put on 4 G614 RST yesterday. 5 miles on them so far and no probs.

On our trip to Oregon in May, three Marathons that came on the new 2009 3400RL had tread separations after 10-11k miles. One with a huge bulge and two with golf ball size bulges. I hadn't researched anything about good tires, so while there on the road to get going again, Les Swabb sold me some TowMax tires. When we got home and I did research I found the g614 seem to be the consensus. So I am putting the TowMax and remaining Marathons on Craigs list with only about 2K miles. I view the G614s as expensive insurance against more expensive RV undercarriage damage.

Our 06 2955RL started with Missions. We replaced them at 18K miles with Michelin XPS Ribs because they started falling apart. The Mchelins looked great at 6K miles when we traded in on the 3400.

I agree with Rich, you did good. My normal selling price on the G614 is $290.00 each, mounted and balanced.

That's it...going to Goodyear dealer on Tues & order G614's!
I have dealt with this dealer for over 20 years & they are honest. They quoted me a $50 per tire credit on my Mission's.

Yes, they will balanced......

Roy
The dealer changed their price for my Missions. I'm going to get only $30 credit for each tire toward the new ones. With the credit, each tire will cost me about $250 plus tax. That will include mounting & a special balancing.
I of course, will bring two tires in at a time, so I will be jacking up the axle & removing the chrome lug nuts by hand. Then it will done right!

Just had 2 GY Marathons go bad and GY did not have any in stock so they bought me 5 Carlisle's. I would like to go to GY614's but have a question on the wheels. Can I use the wheels that are on my 2010 3455SA or do I have to buy new ones because of the 110 PSI?
Thanks.
Hal

Hal, You could look on the inside of the rims and they should be marked for max pressure. Look for the 110 marking....

Just came across "G" rated LT 235/85 X 16 radial tires named Crosswinds made by Westlake that are made in China. "Nice looking tires", we mounted 8 of these on 35 foot double dually goose neck trailer at our cost of $140 each and that is in the northwest. running these at 100 psi with some extreme loads. We'll see how they work out.
