Water filter system

Has anyone installed the Hydropure filter system? I need to purchase a filter system and am looking for suggestions. Also, installing it in the rv or just letting it sit outside the camper.

I'v bought several filters. One a Culligan, big blue housing with a 5micr element,15.00 from Ace Hdware + some ftgs(sits on the ground), next in line is a CXR90 ceramic filter, approx 65.00, which hangs in the entry hole for the convenience centre and last, just yesterday is a toss away blue housing carbon filter from W.M. which sits inside the convenience centre door. When I get home i will clean it up some.

Unfortunately the last filter was added after we got to a park with decent tasting water so I can`t judge yet if I have actually acheived anything except making myself feel better - money + bit of effort = good feeling hopefully.

www.rvwaterfilterstore.com is a great source for RV water filers, hence, the name. I have a dual jumbo system that I sit inside the basement and cut a hole in the side board of the convenience center to run a supply hose from faucet to filters then one from filters to trailer inlet. I also have a Edenpure, under faucet filter that we use for drinking. Have had no problems with water since RV'ing. Others may have different experiences and opinions. These folks are very good and have everything you may need. BTW, I have no cnnnection to them other than they have been very helpful over the years.... Good luck and Welcome to "The Best Darned Forum on the WWW!"

We bought an RO system and keep it in a large plastic tub. By the time we get water from the tap it goes through 5 filters and a membrane.
