Waiting till the last minute!

Well folks I may preach that you should get your selves registered early for the Fall Rally but that doesn't mean I practice what I preach. We are registered for the MOC Fall Rally BUT I failed to register for the Escapees Fall Rally in Goshen immediately prior to our rally. I called today and we are now #32 on the waiting list. We had planned on being in Goshen for three weeks. We had planned on being at the fairgrounds EARLY for both rallies. Now that (I) have failed to make my reservations for the Escapees rally WE will have to find other quarters for that 10 days prior our rally. I thought I had all my ducks in a row when in fact I has a chicken stampede. I will keep my fingers that WE can get in to the first rally but I doubt it so we will make alternate plans just in case... ... Dave

Dave.. We just got our E tickets and parking pass from Escapee's today. I am jerked because we did not get registered soon enough to get a full hook site. My guess is that you will get a space. 850 units that will be a Chinese fire drill and we are not coming in early

Jo-Anna, like what? Rich, even if you had tried to get FHU on the 2nd of January (the date they set for the first registrations) you probably would not have gotten in. I tried on the 4th and they had filled all available FHU sites.. What we needed was a spam program to load the server right midnight

Dave, I think you have a very good chance. I base this on the fact that I have scheduled several events and typically cancellation/no-shows run a minimum of 10% or higher. That includes people who just never show up. So at 850, there should be at least 85 openings between now and then.

BTW: Don't think for an instant you're the only person who has screwed up something like this!

That FG actually has room for 1100 units. 850 with some kind of hook ups.
