No power in large slide

We have checked the breakers, so that is not the problem. All of a sudden we have no electricity in the large slide, that is the power sockets as well as the lights. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this should be. We have the 3400RL. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Diana

Hi Folks,

You may want to look under the outside of the slide to see if the wire has been cut or tore away. It has happened before to others.

Wish you well,

You should note that the wire that was mentioned runs along the bent piece of plastic, about 5" wide, that goes from the frame to the outside edge of the slide. There are DC, AC, and speaker leads in that bundle. Beware of touching any bare ends that you see if you have power still on the rig, though!

Sounds like a broken wire. we have had two different wires break inside a connector. From the out side they looked joined, but a little tug on the wires to the connectors and voila. Broken wire. These were one on each side under the tailer skirt just before the went into the slides. ( but both were 12V ).
