Just bought new 3500

Thanks you all for your replies, your info was so helpful. We now are the proud owners of a 2010 Dodge 3500 SRW 4X4, bucket seats, Laramie pkg, remote start, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, sun roof etc. We are thrilled. Have to get a new hitch installed and we are looking at the Pullrite. ??? Pathfinder

Cograts on the new truck. Even though I retired from GM, I'm with John K. in the idea that all of the big three make good trucks that if taken care of, will provide great service.

good luck with your new TV, and many safe and happy miles.
as John stated all of the big three work good. and each has there own little gliches and comments. was there a reason you went with the short bed which require a slider over the 8 foot bed.

If you have a short bed....the pullrite slider will be perfect and you will enjoy the convienance it offers....a little more expensive but worth it for sure...easy in and out if you want to remove it as well...

You will certainly enjoy your 3500 just as we have with our 04.5. You also can't go wrong with the Superglide. Yes, more money but great peace of mind. We got ours for that reason and also the ease it would come out and leave us a flat bed. Of course after 5 yrs we haven't stayed put long enough to even take it our.

Superglide also. If you want to take it out get help. Very heavy.

Another very happy Dodge Cummins and superglide owner here. I still am amazed at how nonchalantly this Dodge tows this Montana up the hills and down. It just doesn't seem to breathe hard at all. No wonder the Cummins lasts so long.

Awhile back I had a fuel filter change done at the Dodge dealer near where we were staying. I walked the new truck lot while waiting. Those new Dodges are beautiful. I found exactly the one I'd want if we were in the market. But this one at just under 62k miles is hardly even broken in.
