Ready to Embarrass Yourself?

Can you pass an 8th grade math test?

My little brain has managed to retain something I guess. Maybe it was all those years struggling thru college math classes. Missed one because I misread the diagram. Come to think of it, that happened a lot in college also.

57 yrs here and 10/10, did take me a little head scratch'n on the congruant angle question. However I do need to question myself as to why it excited me to get a 10/10 @ an 8th grade level.

8 out of 10. Made dumb math errors on both.

10/10 with calculator help.
Congruant angle was a problem except only three of the four angles listed so it had to be those that were the same.
I did much better with Math than ENGLISH. Thank goodness for spell check.

42 years after 8th grade, I got 10/10 with a pencil. However, the math we were doing then was not quite as advanced as the quiz was. At least that is my recollection of days gone by.

It seems that all of us, so far, are now qualified to work at McDonald's. Woo Hoo! No, wait ....on second thought, I think that I will stay retired.

That question in "meters" threw me off. As did proportional spacing, altitude, all weather carpet (we only have one weather down here, shaded surface (not in Texas), saving money(?), and a bunch of others. I did find "x" though. It was right there on the paper.

I'm of the old philosphy: If 2 + 2 = 5, then 2 + 2 = 4, is a true statement, because if 2 + 2 = anything, then 2 + 2 = 4.
