That looks ok Steve I cut all that mounting brackets off the top of mine to bring it closer to the dash and used 2 washers on th front of the bracket to pich it forward a bit to see better from the looks of Sreigle he might have done the same as I did. dont forget that controler can be almost straght up and down,

Don, I used the quick release bracket as I wanted to be able to disconnect and the pic above shows mounted/disconnected. No screws holding the P3 in place so much eaiser to disconnect. They could of at least used painted screws. Note I have a fairly decent view of the P3 display while being somewhat hidden by the steering wheel. Steve

Yes I used the quick relese bracket also if you are interested I'll take a close up of the bracket and post it.
I took a pic to show you I didnt paint the washers yet either.

Ok guys the more I read about the P-3 the more I like what I see. I have had this Prodigy in 5 different Trucks. Our 5th wheel has Electric over Hydraulic Disk Brakes, and I have two Trailers that are only Electric and like the idea of the Electric/Hydraulic switch. We will take a short trip this weekend, you know (hitch itch) but going to see the Grandkids is always a good excuse. I have been told all you have to do is plug and play if you already have the Prodigy? GBY....

Steve, yours is on a whole lot less angle than mine (see picture earlier in this thread) and mine works fine. They're engineered to handle a pretty serious angle although I don't know the limit.

I was worried about the cant angle as i'm not real sure what you can get away with. My instructions were a simple NO for cant and NO for anything but parallel. My eyes are not what they use to be so a perfect setup was tough for me. I did like the way Don removed the mounting harware and screwed the mount straight to the dash. Steve

Mine is also mounted directly to the dash, near the bottom, actually on the same bracket that was there for the voyager.
We did bring the Monty home from CW last week and the new P-3 makes a world of difference, and I mean a good difference too. Really like it so far. We are headed to Montana, Glacier National Park Monday and will get a chance to use it then. After a week at GNP we plan to go north to Revelstoke and on back down to Langley.
