It seems ironic that Good Sam would be trying to leverage other companies going out of business when this article says that Affinity Group (Good Sam, Camping World, Trailer Life, etc.) are in financial trouble.

The loss of the Good Sam discounts at RV Parks would be unfortunate but not a big deal. I have a love hate relationship with Camping World. The service departments are so hit or miss. You might get someone who knows what they are doing or you may not. It is just luck of the draw with whoever is assigned to you rig even if you return to the same Camping World. However when you are in an area you don't know you can usually count on Camping World having the best selection of RV stuff.
The last paragraph says it all "What happens to fulltimers who’ve put money on AGI “insurance” plans against major RV component failure? What about the RVer who breaks down somewhere on America’s Loneliest Road, picks up the cell phone and dials for AGI sponsored Emergency Road Service?"
I know that a lot of us have Good Sam ERS!
