FREE Camping, I-65, Birmingham, Alabama

Suncoast RV
730 George Roy Parkway
Calera, AL 35040

Alabama I-65 Exit number 234
About 20 Full Hookup, 50AMP sites.
All back ins. All Concrete pad and patio.
No other amenities.

Saw Suncoast's billboard on I-65 advertising among other things "Free Camping"
Haven't been able to get any further info.
Pulled in and spoke to a Service Tech and asked the policy. His comment was, "There is no policy, just pull in, hook up and enjoy."

Great for an overnighter...

That sounds great. We have sometimes stayed at Oak Mountain SP, that I think is quite close. Is it the Montana dealer that you can see from I-65 near Birmingham? Thanks for the tip.

Yes it is and that maybe the only downfall. We are closer to I-65 than the RR at Goshen. Sounds like it maybe a bit noisy night BUT it's FREE.

Well enjoy, it is probably warmer there than it is here, temperatures are hitting the skids here. The noise is probably no worse than staying at a Flying J.
