Thor does have SOBs that do offer disc brakes

Poking around looking at 3791RD style SOBs found that a Thor SOB does offer disc brakes as a factory option. Will bring it up in September at the rally.

You used to be able to get IS and disk brakes added to any Montana when you ordered it. The cost just wasn't worth you taking it over to Moryde and having it done yourself. When you go to Moryde you'll see rigs without the decals on sitting around there. Usually they are Redwoods and others waiting to have IS and disk brakes installed and then they'll be returned to the factory. Depends on how much more you're willing to pay for the priviledge of not having to do it yourself. For that reason, hardly anyone ever did it so if Keystone has stopped it's just because of lack of demand.

My thoughts would be maybe moyrride could setup something with dealers. Main thing for me would be to get options included in the original deal/finance package. Of course that would probably not mean hydraulic slides and leveling

This is true. Mobile suites also does it. It is a expensive option and most folks won't do it. We have the advantage of not living to far away from Elkhart. less than 300 miles) so we took our 13 3402 to the Mor Ryde factory to have it installed.

We had the I.S. and disc brakes installed also.I can't imagine an dealer doing the I.S. install. The disc brakes maybe, but you need an certified welder to install the I.S. The suspension has to be cut out and grinded down and i don't think i would want an dealer using an cutting torch on my rv. The rv's i saw at Mor-Ryde waiting for upgrade was DRV's.I don't think anyone else in the country installs the I.S. I like the I.S. but the disc brakes even better.

DRVs are the most you see waiting for the IS install. Don't know now, but a few years ago you could get IS on a LandMark, Crossroads is still dragging their feet on added IS as an option.
