cracked entry door inside handle

Hi all,
Has anyone had their inside handle on entry door crack? Ours has a crack running down the length of the white part of the handle right along where the two screws are. The door jams when trying to open. Does the whole mechanism need to be replaced? Our door has always been hard to close so there was always a lot of stress when closing the door on the inside.
Hope this is understandable ??

Never mind folks, called our dealer.

Try tightening the screws, they tend to come lose on your own...

No, as I stated it has a big crack. The crack is right along the area where the screws are.
Thanks anyway, picking up a new one today at the dealership.

Sorry about the crack after replacing it I would take it apart every year and clean it put a little lube on moving parts and reinstall its like brand new been doing this for 8 yrs after getting locked out.Crawling through laundry shoot is hard. Good luck Jack I don't know if that part is sold by its self or not.

If your door is hard to close, have your dealer check for frame twist. We had a couple of issues - went through a couple of sets of tires, door hard to close - and they found our axles had lost camber. After they took care of that, everything was right with the world.
