Incredible Website

This post probably belongs elsewhere, but I'll post it here as I think it will initially get more notice. Browse this website which is totally for vintage campers. I'm not advertising for this guy nor do I have any association with him. I just stumbled onto this website last evening. Click on some of the camper icons on the left for more viewing of say restored projects. I wonder what they pulled a 40+' travel trailer with back then? Notice the stick house style fridges, stools, bath tubs, and heaters installed in the campers ... notice the neat old lighting. Some were top of the line in their day.

Brings back memories.....Our first RV was a 1965 17 foot Trailblazer in 1969. The unit was made in north central WI. It slept 6 & had a gas light above the dinette table. Also it had a wall furnace; separate toilet room with holding tank(small tank); no hot water tank; small refrig(gas) & cold water faucet at the kitchen sink! Of course a single axle & NO A/C! At that time we thought this was luxury! Oh yea, No awning to worry about in high wind.......I pulled it with a 1966 Chev station Wagon..350 engine. Also with No A/C!
We took this with 5 kids; a dog & my wife from WI to Yellowstone in 1971!
We really shouldn't complain about Decals & Chinese tires...should we??
No shower either................
