Birds Attacking the Monty!!
Oh geez... This is the first time we have not had the Montana under cover and the birds are having a field day trying to build nest in every nook and crany! We tear them out they put them back! Contruction starts in June for the addition to the garage to put it in but by then we will be insane!!

At least they are quiet when building a nest.. we had a built in alarm clock last spring.. a Robin would peck at the mirror on the front of the Monty every a.m. Took us a little while to figure out what the noise was.. had to cover it up so we could sleep past 6:30...

Not so quiet. I walked by the RV and thought the DH is finally putting the shelves in I asked for. I heard tap tap tap like a hammer. Went inside no shelves in process. Still hearing tap tap tap.... "Those blasted birds"

A morning dove had built a nest on the hitch box of the 5er we pick up on Saturday. She tried to drive us away when we were buying the trailer; there were eggs in the nest!

We had a robin dive bombing our windows, the ones next to where we were sitting. Daddy robin was sitting on the laundry room eave next door, watching over the nest in the tree behind us. We figure he saw his reflection in our windows and assumed it was an interloper and attacked that reflection in our windows. Nothing we tried stopped him. Drove us nuts.

Birds are easier to deal with than bees....especially those black and white bees that like to build those nice gray paper nest....even in the night time they are outside their doorway watching...always on guard....not too cool...

seems like every spring some type of bird trys to turn our pin box into a home. I have resorted to stuffing it with an old foam pillow to block the space, has worked pretty well so far.

Be careful with what you use to wash the Monty. Anything with a scent will attract birds and critters looking for food. They have been known to tear up roofs and do damage to siding. Blue Dawn is the only thing I use as it does not have a scent.
