Problem and Question
Hi all,
Both of these issues are more properly addressed to Keystone, but I thought I would post them here to see if anyone had any insights.
1. We went to pick up our 3255RL trailer from the dealer after having some work done over the winter. When we got there the staff were glum because although they had done excellent work on the items we asked them to look at, they found that the large exterior panel on the underside of the bedroom had cracked and split open badly, apparently overnight. The dealer had made some temporary repairs, but they are going to order a new panel to repair it properly, (fortunately we are still covered by our warranty).
2. While at the dealer's we were attracted to a Big Sky 3575RL. I later checked the published weights on the website and found that it was listed as Gross Dry Wt 9910, Hitch Wt 2120. This seemed pretty good for a triple slide unit since our double slide 3255RL is listed as 9690/2220. I then checked the regular Montana version with the same floor plan, and found the weights listed as 10540/2040.
How can the Big Sky version weigh in so much less? I'm thinking there is an error somewhere in these numbers, they just don't seem to add-up.
In summary:
3575RL Big Sky 9910/2120 (36' Triple slide)
3575RL Montana 10540/2040 (36' Triple slide)
3255RL Montana 9690/2220 (34' Double slide)
Any comments?
