Shade for the entry door window-what do you do?

The "easy chair" in the 3295RK is next to the curio cabinet, not too far from the entry door. It seems all too often when I sit down to relax in that chair the sun wants to blast me right through that window. What do you all do to block out that light and still be able to remove the block at other times? I'm thinking of a pull down shade but until our Montana is back from the dealer I can't measure to see if it would clear the screen door. My wife, showing her immense faith in my ingenuity (, suggested I ask this question in this forum. Ideas? Thanks.
