Trailer hitch on fiver

Just wondering how many of you put a hitch on the back of your Montana capable of pulling say 3000# and how you put it on. Thanks in advance

Several topics about this over the years if you do a search. Here's a recent thread. I will say you are approaching a weight even I would be a bit concerned with.

I built one for my Monty that would probably do just fine. Had one on my last 5er, and it was not nearly as well built as the Monty.
I built a receiver across the back and then ran to a brace about three foot in and tied it across the frame as so not to put all the strain at the very end of the frame.

Thanks for the link and response. I think based on what I read it is a bit iffie.
