Need advice concerning refer lining

We have been on the road since the first of the month and noticed these refrigerator liner cracks yesterday.

There are two distinct and separate cracks with the one on the right being the largest and with tentacles.

These cracks are under where the door closes.

Nothing fell here but I am concerned that this would be the course that Good Sam and/or Norcold may take; also, GS states that refrigerator cabinets are excluded but Norcold refers to this part as a liner.

Any advice on how to talk to the gatekeepers would be appreciated.

Kat and Michael,
Ouch! Certainly looks like "stress" cracks. I know you are concerned that they may say that something fell and caused the breaks. But I would think there would be some markings on or around the cracks and I don't see any evidence of that in the pictures you've posted. We have not seen any such cracks in either our old rig or in the new rig. I'll bet it was the way it was mounted. And in all your travels it may have slipped off or moved around just enough to cause the cracks. Sorry I can't be of more help and good luck. Dennis

Michael, I had to wonder what would happen when you got that beverage off of the top shelf for me by stepping up on the edge of the frig. Remember you're not one of those feather weights anymore! You know I'm only kidding and I hope you can figure out what has caused the cracks. I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this. Maybe some Elmers Glue and a couple of BIG barclamps will do the trick??? Keep us informed on what you find out!

My freezer cracked near the bottom (I think). My dealer put on some sort of tape that seems to adhere very well and hasn't come loose yet (I think 1 year or so). I had them fix it as a precautionary measure.

Very unusual. I would be concerned that those cracks would extend.

Update -

Norcold is denying the warranty claim due to wear and tear and that it is "cosmetic". Need some ammunition for when I speak with their head technician next week.

I wouldn't call that cosmetic. If it was in a restaurant refrigerator the health dept wouldn't allow it's use due to the possibility of mold and or bacteria buildup with no way to make sure you could clean and sanitize it. Seems like an unsafe situation for anyone and you're very nice people not just the average folks.

We sure like the dometics we had in our first two Montanas better than the Norcold. Had to add weather stripping on the inside of the unit to stop interior sweating. Door does not seem to close tight.

Well, Norcold denied the warranty claim. I have appealed...we'll see.
