Ceiling fan

Howdy
Just got a 2014 3155RL, can anyone tell me what the big rocker switch in the control panel runs?
Thanks

Based on the thread title it sounds like you have answered your own question - it is the ceiling fan. You also need to pull the chain switch at the fan to set it.

Thanks for the reply, I thought that was what it controlled. When I turn on the switch it immediately pops a 15 amp breaker in the fuse/breaker panel, so I wasn’t sure.....

Sounds like you might have a short.

I’m sure I do ..... pulled the fan from ceiling and all the connections look fine, pulled the rocker switch and that looks a little strange to me, none of the wires are stripped.... switch has blade connectors, I am guessing they cut through the insulation to make contact ..... never saw one like that before!!

Welcome to M.O.C That is what kind of switches & plugs the use in RV's kind of chip but they work. Have you tried to live the fan unhooked and turn the switch on and see if it
blows the barker or you can run a by pass by the switch and see if the fan runs.

That’s what I did and it was a problem with one of the ground wires contacting a hot terminal .... poor job of installing by the factory I would guess. Fan works as it should now. Always something
