TCM Replacement

i have a 2009 Chevy Duramax and have never had a problem with the truck until last week. The transmission began to act very strange, would not shift and the Check Stabiltrack warning light came on. Did research on the Duramax Owner's Forum and looked like the TCM (transmission control module) needed to be replaced and then flashed to tie into the ECU. Repair shop wanted $1,100 to replace, flash, etc. The ECM was $660. I found it on Amazon for $266, plus tax and shipping. I ended up buying the Amazon TCM and having the shop install it and saved $400. Hope this helps anyone elese who runs into this problem.

Man, this hi-tech stuff is great till it breaks. Sorry you had this issue but glad you were able to save some $$$. Hope it all works good for you here on out.
