Does the Big Sky with Gel Coat need wax

I want to protect my unit as it will sit in the AZ sun fulltime. Does the GelCoat need to be waxed and if so what should be used. I would look up what the mfr recommends but the book is in the camper. Thanks

Our Montana is almost three years old. I have a metal shed cover that it is parked under. Both ends are open and it faces east and west so both end caps are exposed to the Texas sun every day. The gel-coat was starting to look chalky even though I have waxed it. Yesterday I tried Mequiar's Oxidation Cleaner and it restored the gel-coat back to it's original new finish. It is a liquid, thinner than liquid wax, not hard to apply and remove.

I have jel coat...just got it waxed for the 1st time in HILTON head, Did make it look nicer..I think if you stick to the maintance it will help with the looks.

I am too lazy to wax as often as I want
