Light Switches MIA and Some that don't cause response

OK, maybe I should elaborate;

New Owner 2015 3721RL which I got for a song! Not sure whether its a happy song or a sad song. More will be revealed!

1) Wondering if you guys can help me understand where the light switch for these 4 overhead downlights is supposed to be? The Ceiling Light switch does not turn them on or off. The switch doesn't appear to be connected via wire to these lights (I chased down the wire by tracking thru the fuse below).
2) What would the Ceiling Light switch be connected to? This doesn't cause any lights to go on and off.
3). What is the 120V rocker switch be connected to?

Thanks for your help and hope your dayz are happy!

Kevin

Kevin,

Welcome to the forum!

The rocker switch typically controls the fan. The rest of the switches, it's best to sort them out by trial and error. You may have some switches that are not used. Some of the lights may have a second switch at the light.

ID:	16492Oh, by the way; These are the downlights that I can not find a switch to. They appear to be "unswitched"?

Thanks Zach and Donna. It appears from the back of the switch panel that all of the switches have wires landed on them. It seems that they don't all operate something. I will of course keep looking and looking for wisdom from y'all!

My Montana is much older than yours, but there are some random, unlabeled switches on the wall which I accidentally flip from "on" to "off" sometimes without even noticing I've done it. I only realize I've accidentally turned one or both of those switches off when an overhead light doesn't work, and I freak out for a moment until I remember those random switches, check them, and turn them on again--which makes the lights work again. Maybe there's a random switch you need to turn on?

I just looked at your picture again--and the random, unlabeled kind of switch I'm talking about, which controls the overhead lights in my rig, is actually in your picture. The single, unlabeled black switch to the right of the large panel, underneath the Max Fan panel, looks like it's in the "off" position. Flip it to "on" and maybe the lights will work.

The lights appear to be more towards the rear wall living room area. Is there a light switch on the wall in that area? My LR lights are controlled separately on a switch up there, which I replaced with a dimmer some time ago.

On my rig those light switches are in the coffee bar area. Look there…

I would have hoped that it would be so easy....

That switch operates the "pendant" light over the sink, but does not operate the 4 spots which are shown on in the other photo.

It is amazing how "custom" these builds are. Seems that the electrical from unit to unit is quite unique. Time and tinkerers add to the customization.

My switch for those ceiling lights is in the back of the unit, to the left of the rear window.
